Yeah that would be my question. I've got the original G Pad X from a FAR deal that is currently on a free 200mb a month data plan on my Simple Choice. If I could do that I'd consider it but definitely not interested in it if you actually have to keep a data plan with a monthly fee.

These bill credits really screw those of us who have TMobile for our work phones. One time a mail in rebate would be better.

Yeah so can you downgrade to the free 200mb plan at some point or are you locked in for two years?

I went to the final order screen and was able to select the "On Demand" data plan while adding a line for the tablet. The only monthly charges shown for check out were the purchase plan and the 1 time sim kit charge. 125$ for cell capable tablet isn't bad but it's basically the same thing I've already got and still works fine so I don't see any need for it.

I did at one point get a warning that if I moved from the On Demand plan I might not be able to switch back to it so that might only be possible for people with an existing line like that already in place.

Hopefully this GPad is better than the lg V521 POSs I got in a deal a year plus ago. Both of the tablets I received randomly bootlooped. Couldn't use it for anything worthwhile.

So I have this tablet. I actually purchased it back in March. I read something on it that it comes pre unlocked from factory so I tried testing another sim card in it & it actually is unlocked.

Over all it's a great tablet & that plus pack with speaker is awesome way better than the junk Sammy Tab E tablet.
