I found out after the purchase that this is like promo credit than a gift card.
However, I am unable to redeem the gift card (using Claim Code) in the Lyft mobile app. It says it is invalid.
I have an active promotion (10% off 8 rides, etc) on the account. Is this the reason I am unable to redeem the Lyft gift card since it can't stack with other promotions?
Do you have to enter the space in the claim code to redeem? I would imagine not, but just checking.
Any other feedback from your experience?
I called the Lyft gift card hotline 1-844-493-9881. It is asking me for 16 digit code for balance. I will try corresponding digit for the letters and see if I can get the balance.
I just redeemed a LYFT e-gift card purchased on Amazon and it worked fine entering the code exactly as it was sent to me (I opened the email and copy/pasted) -- note that it gets added in the Lyft Promo section and you can choose to use one type of promo/credit at a time (i.e., you cannot stack the 10% off 8 rides with the gift card credit -- for each ride you can pick one or the other at the time of the ride...as the 10% off rides expire, I suggest using those up first and saving the GC balance...yes would be nice if they stacked, but Lyft doesn't allow it)
Thanks for the info. I was redeeming the gift card in a friend's acct. I tried 3 different codes (Amazon sent 2 new codes) and they all didn't work. If you look at the latest reviews on Amazon for Lyft Gift Card, many people had the same issue as I did. I got my purchased refunded.
