You still need a PoE power source, so either a PoE switch, NVR, or PoE injector / ac adapter.
Add a microSD card and you will have a superior camera for image captures compared to the usual Nest, Ring, Arlo, Blink, and other cloud based cameras.
At this price point, compare it to the Nest IQ cameras which claim to have a 4k sensor but only give you 1080P at best.. using up 400MB per month of bandwidth at the high quality setting.
Notes:
Remember Dome cameras do best indoors, or in protected areas - such as shaded porches - from direct UV and heat exposure. Over time, UV exposure and heat will decay the dome and foam / rubber seal protecting the lens from internal IR glare issues.
The Starvis Sensor is the same family of sensors which are used in much of the well respected Dahua OEM 2MP starlight series of cameras. Good chip - however with more pixels than the 2MP starlight - so day time images should be very nice, and night time pretty good. ( 2MP starlight will still be better as the pixel size is larger in the chip so it can see more light in low light conditions )
dahua rebadges i'm guessing?

Yes Dahua rebadge. Lorex seems to be the one calling turrets domes, as well as domes domes iirc.
Clearly the hours this deal ran significantly impacted the ability for people to get in on it.
( started at 12:30AM PT and run until 6:30AM PT )
I think Amcrest was selling it.. Amcrest Direct has an ebay store and often you can offer a price under OBO.
Maybe worth seeing if Amcrest Direct would sell one at close to the deal price? ( they probably would say no.. but never hurts to ask )

I've tried doing ebay best offer with them for similar prices and they always reject. Probably for the best, I'll stick with the bullets.
