Star Alliance's Air China, flag carrier and one of China's major airlines headquartered in Beijing, is having a Summer Flash Sale this weekend where round trip airfares from Houston to Panama City at $399 and several US cities to Asia are $499 USD. There's also a 144 hour visa-free transit so if you have a layover.....! There are only a limited number of tickets allotted so act fast.

Nice! But I have a question. What benefits is there booking it through Skyscanner when I can make it easier and book it through Air China?

Book direct is always better if you know exactly what you want.

and because not only do you have the option to book directly with air china via skyscanner, but skyscanner have OTAs that may offer lower prices to earn your business. (by a couple of bucks or something). to simply answer your question.....more choices.
