Sapphire nitro+ is a great card, my nitro+ Vega 64 runs cool and quiet, and is beautiful too.

XFX xxx 8gb version is 229.99 after 30 rebate on Amazon is another post. 8gb version has faster GDDR5 than 4gb version and thus better FPS.

The Sapphire NITRO has better reviews than that XFX card, but it's hard to argue against 8GB @ 8GHz instead of 4GB @ 7GHz for $10 less. Though the NITRO is advertised with samsung memory that will hit 8GHz.

Garbage... Should be $150ish at this point. Just wait for the NVIDIA to announce their new line next month. No matter what prices will continue to drop, and that should speed things up.

agreed. many of these deals are for very poor quality cards to begin with, especially sapphire. not worth it.

The Sapphire Nitro+ line is hardly garbage or poor quality. Probably the most built up card on the market. No corners have been cut here.

This is a good deal for a 580 today especially given how this card compares to others in the market. Holding out for Newegg dumps through eBay will net you a better deal though as will waiting longer for prices to fall to their appropriate levels.

I'm still running a P4 3.0 with 2x512mb RAM and a Radeon x850xt because every time I think about upgrading I'm told why I should wait just a little bit longer - will this finally be the time to do it?

So bad. So little actual gaming performance for the dollar. Maybe peruse the bay some time. 1070, 1070 ti, 1080 are much better options at around these AMD prices. Unless you got freesync, and truly want those games... Even then this lesser 4GB card is garbage.

Which part is a trick? I know its not as good as the 1080, but the rx580 is much cheaper brand new.... vs ebay $400-600 for the GTX1080. Also this is for a Mac and seems lots of people have no issues popping in a RX580 vs issues with the drivers on the 1080.
