Why in the world did you buy this monitor if you don't game? The literally only reason to buy this monitor is for G-Sync and gaming with the very high dynamic refresh rate.

Dang, I just picked up the S2417DG and love it...but it has some serious color banding going on. Does this model have color banding issues?

Nice! Yeah I bought it at MicroCenter 2 days ago so I can still return it. I wanted this model but the microcenter by me hasn't had them in stock for a while. My S2417DG is an A05 and like I said, it's great but the color banding ruins the experience for me. Looks like I'll be heading to best buy tomorrow! Thanks!

Last 3 characters of the serial number. I had a "vertical line" problem on the A08 (Dec 2017)where an entire column of pixels would get displaced from the center of the screen to the left of the screen and cause a distortion. I went to B.B. this morning and swapped it out for rev A09 (April 2018) and did not see this problem anymore.
