I have one of this from my work. The touchbar is annoying and might take a bit to get used to it. The keyboard is terrible. Trackpad is nice though.

Apple still has the best warranty and customer support. Lenovo would be in second place. Dell customer support is just sad, HP is clueless. You are running out of options Wink

dang just bought my son a non touchbar 2017 i5 2.3ghz 13" 8gb/256 from BBuy.for just 50$ less
prob should return it and get this. but what a pain.

The only time I've ever seen this beat is when I got the same model for $1299 with no tax from an eBay seller (dealfellow) a couple months back. That may never happen again, so this is pretty solid.
