I happened to check my amazon assistant plugin in chrome today (mostly to clear out the old messages and remove the notification numbers, but i digress) and noticed I had a $3 off of 10$ "back to school" promotion. I do not have a link to it as it disappeared from my list after I clicked it. It says that I have 18 days to use it.
To test it out, I added some random item sold by amazon via the assistant (my go to item is nutramax cosequin). I saw a $3 assistant credit when I went to check out.
the really cool thing was , after i removed that item from my cart and then just added a random item sold by amazon (not via the assistant), the $3 credit remained. I think I remember it doing that the last time i had an assistant credit. Anyways, I am not sure if this is showing up for everyone, but hopefully it helps someone. To find it, click your amazon assistant button in your browser, and it should be right at the top if you have it.

Enhanced directions
1. Click the link in the Amazon Assistant to activate the promo. It is normal to see a message about invalid promo etc..
2. Go back to the assistant and search for, and add any item shipped and sold by amazon. My go to item is nutramax cosequin for dogs. This step is important as it seems to do an additional activation.
3. You can now remove that item from your cart and then add any item shipped and sold by amazon. You should now see the $3 credit still applying.
*NOTE* Make sure you add items to your cart AFTER applying the first 2 steps. Any existing item in your cart will not show the credit.
