A good deal if you need to buy it now or are not a Costco member. A "eh" so-so deal if you don't need it now and are a Costco member.
In addition to the rock-bottom price, I like the no-questions asked easy return option (i.e. dead pixels), the free 2-year extended warranty using my Costco Visa, and the 3 additional years for only $35 from Square Trade (if it comes in under $500 https://www.costco.com/SquareTrad...60

It's not going to drop much. It's the best 55" you can buy under $800. Even last year's 55p series are still going for $475.
