Picked up a fair condition, that was only missing the stand which I don't need. See a couple other stores near me with similar pricing on the 48"

Thanks! Was able to grab an open box-good for $30 more for my mom.

There's still 1 Open box-fair available in Tempe for $413 for anyone else in the Phoenix Area.

You can check panel display time in settings. Will show you total time display was on. Can also run burn in test on YouTube. My C8 display model had slight burn, which i checked in store by connecting to Bluetooth. The price was still too good to refuse

According to Rtings site: "The TV supports most common resolutions up to 4k @ 144Hz. Chroma 4:4:4 signals are displayed properly with all supported resolutions when the TV's input label is set to 'PC,' which is important for text clarity. Unfortunately, even though it can display chroma 4:4:4 properly, text from a PC isn't clear due to the unusual subpixel structure"

99.9% chance they are, which is why they cannot ship them and the stands are often missing.

That was an older model, first gen Samsung QD-OLED panels were really prone to burn in so in a firmware update they severely dimmed the screen to mitigate the burn in. Super sketchy stuff from Samsung.
Iirc according to rtings peak brightness went down from like 1500 nits to 1000 after the update.
