These are extremely comfortable work shoes, if you actually move around for a living. These are not for impregnating skanks at the local dive bar. The shoes are true to size, and extremely comfortable. I usually have to insole everything I buy because the cushion is crap, but not on these.

we lived in hawaii. at the time, in a small town. we did have slippers, but most of the time, i went barefoot. had to save the slippers for more special occasions, or they would wear out. one has to eat first, stuff like clothes and shoes are lower in priority, clothes first, then shoes. i had to wear shoes to high school, which back then, started at 7th grade. walking a couple miles to school or the store was a daily occurrence. you dont miss things you never had. but hey, my early days were ok.
