Between this one and the P-Series 55", currently $749 at BB. Never bought a ViZio before. Can anyone speak from experience?
I have only ever bought Vizio until this year (bought an LG OLED B7). I also have a Vizio P in my bedroom. I've never once had an issue with any Vizio TV purchase.
Based on comments here[avsforum.com], it looks like the P series has more local dimming zones (128 vs 32) and higher refresh rate (120 vs 60).
Yep, that's one reason I'm looking at the P series. Rtings also gives a pretty favorable review. I was going to get the Samsung 8000 series from Costco, but I've seen lots of complaints with crackling and popping noises with those.
Personally, sound quality (no room for sound bar) and viewing angle or two important decisions, the P-Series does not improve on either one of those. Costco has the 4 year warranty when buying with their credit card and the additional three year square trade warranty on this TV is only 35$ since is slides in under the 500 boundary.

Well, if the Vizio M-Series doesn't have a true 10-Bit color panel, which I think it doesn't. I'd rather go for the Samsung 8000 Series, which does. True 10-Bit color means real HDR10/Dolby Vision playback compatability.

Does anyone have this 2018 TV want to comment on the quality of the 4K streaming?
