Amazing price, only way to get close to this price was stacking coupons at staples for WD Blue and Evo. Got one for $60 and one for $65. but man this is tempting

Yeah and that's their every day price.

The way things are going so far away from Christmas it seems a logical assumption there will be 1TB available on Black Friday for $99 or perhaps even slightly less... Which brand and model that is, well I'm sure it won't be the greatest rated SSD. Hahaha

I've never had an issue with silicon power brand anything. I've got several externals that are 1-4 yrs old that fly like Superman and their MicroSD cards are a superb bang for your buck.

Samsung EVO 970 is the best all rounder. Older Samsungs use TLC which isn't as reliable as older ssd technologies like SLC and MLC. For this price, its a bargain as SLC and MLC tends to be more expensive due to the need for more NAND for the equivalent capacity of TLC drives.

Thanks for the information.. the 970 isn't a 2.5 though,is the 860 the highest for the 2.5 version?
