If the t harness is only $10 then you should get that one! The T-harness allows them NOT to have to cut into your wires as it plugs into your original connector! It also has a newer control module! The install time is also faster! Finally , The picture on the 4900 isn't correct. Scroll down and you will see it has the same remotes!

Hope it helps! Did you get the information from your local BESTBUY autotech?
The Remote Start Ignition T-Harness is a vehicle specific adapter designed to reduce the installation time of your remote start by up to 50%. The T-Harness will plug in-between the ignition switch harness and then directly into the remote start control module.
the 4900 has upgraded remotes from the 4202!

The 4905 also has a newer control module.
They both have the same remotes.
The 4900 is for someone who doesn't want to pay extra for the T harness which can cost up to $79 extra!
they will splice the wires like they did on your other car!
Make sure you talk to your autotech to make sure the T harness you have will fit the car you plan on having it installed on!
Does that answer your question?
