I missed this deal last autumn. They had a similar deal a few weeks ago. Apart from that, I haven't seen the 2-way for this price in a year

I'd say it's seasonal. They have something every couple of weeks in the fall until around Nov/Dec.

I believe the 4900 doesn't need a t harness! You could call. Your local best buy. And speak To the autotech to fond out the difference between them before you decide!

T harness is like $10 I don't get why the 4900 is more expensive at retail price when the 4905 has more options on the button? I do however like the 4900 compact size.

If the t harness is only $10 then you should get that one! The T-harness allows them NOT to have to cut into your wires as it plugs into your original connector! It also has a newer control module! The install time is also faster! Finally , The picture on the 4900 isn't correct. Scroll down and you will see it has the same remotes!

Hope it helps! Did you get the information from your local BESTBUY autotech?

Bought a 4202s for my wife's car last Xmas. What's the difference between this one and the 4202s? Also, the Compustar site says that the installation harness is included. Is that not the "t-harness"?

They don't have to cut into you wires to install the remote starter if you use a T-harness! It plugs in! You have to pay extra for it!

The Remote Start Ignition T-Harness is a vehicle specific adapter designed to reduce the installation time of your remote start by up to 50%. The T-Harness will plug in-between the ignition switch harness and then directly into the remote start control module.

the 4900 has upgraded remotes from the 4202!

Thanks for the info. My auto tech gave me a t harness last time for free because he was installing my 4202 and it took him awhile. But to clarify you're saying the 4900s > 4905s?

I'm saying the 4905 is the best one if you have the T harness. The T harness makes a much better instal and less chance for them make a mistake

The 4905 also has a newer control module.

They both have the same remotes.

The 4900 is for someone who doesn't want to pay extra for the T harness which can cost up to $79 extra!

they will splice the wires like they did on your other car!

Make sure you talk to your autotech to make sure the T harness you have will fit the car you plan on having it installed on!

Does that answer your question?

I bought the 4900s a couple weeks ago. Does it suck now? How much is the t-harness for it? I have a 2014 Chrysler Town & Country.
