Depends on who you ask😏 my answer is maybe.... maybe not. All I know I got 480gb adata x8200 for $93 few weeks ago and that thing flies like crazy so if it gets lower than that I'll buy another one. It's a good option if your laptop has both SATA and nvme to use SATA for cheaper high storage mechanical drives and this one for OS and programs.

Most likely. Especially as we approach BF.

Yes. If it has a m.2 slot!
Just watch out for Optane modules. They would only work with Intel CPUs

For $10 more you can get a Mydigitalssd BPX Pro 480. It uses the latest high end controller Phison E12 that has a much higher write speed (2100MBs vs 1625MBs) and endurance rating (800TBW vs 288TBW). The only other company using the same chip at the moment is the Corsair Force MP510 and thats a $500+ SSD.

M.2 is used in laptops, if you are using it in a desktop a 2.5ssd is going to be much cheaper

NVM on that, I guess I'm outta the loop.

But seriously though, getting a standard SATA III SSD is probably in your financial best interest.

M.2 is for both laptops and desktops. 2.5 SATA ssd are cheaper but also slower that M.2s

M.2 nvme SSD is faster than 2.5 sata SSD. However 90% of the general population will not notice the few seconds difference in speed unless you're compiling and encoding for a living or you're more wife.
