Xfinity - Add TV Get a Free iPad ymmv targeted
Got this in my email. Link was targeted so I can't post it. I'm in MA and currently have internet and mobile with them. The 60 Mbps is currently costing me $49.99/mo. (which is all I can get here).
The link took me to a TV/ Internet deal that seems to be $59/mo with faster 100 Mbps internet, no contract. But that won't apparently qualify for the iPad. The other deal for 150 Mbps internet at $69/mo with 2 yr contract apparently does however.
UPDATE - I called and got handed off to no less than 5 people. After 30 min of classic Comcast, I was told that only customers who sign up online by upgrading thru their account page qualify.
Since there is nothing to that effect in my email & given the the reps' state of confusion, I basically don't trust half of anything I heard. Especially since my email specifically said "call for details".

While the pricing is definitely not worth it, when you lock into these 12/24 month contracts they can't raise pricing on you.
Considering I pay about the same for 150 + Playstation Vue I am considering it. Our current tablet is the 2nd gen Nexus 7!

Can always cancel TV after IPad is shipped, and sign on new contract with internet only.
