Best Buy [bestbuy.com] has $300 off the Verizon Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. NO BILL CREDITS

Pixel 2 is $349 after instant $300 off. You do pay tax on $649. Its $43 in taxes for NC. Upgrade / Activation Fee: adds $30

New or Existing Verizon customers (upgrade or add a line)

Pixel 2Pixel 2 XLYou may pay off the phone before 24 months and either keep or close / cancel your Verizon account if you want w/o owing anything else for the phone. It's yours to keep once you've paid off the agreed-upon price (i.e. ~$350 for the 64GB Pixel 2, etc.).

This is a good deal...if you need a phone now...there could/should be better deals with BF and CM approaching in a month.

The Pixel 2 seems to be only sold by BB...If you are set on this phone..you probably won't find a better deal.

And if you are are adding a new line and you have military status, you can get a $200 GC as well. See the below thread:

If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

XL is what I would want but $550 is still too steep. Would bite at $400.

Can I pay it off right away or do I have to be with VZ for 24 month?

If it's like the Walmart deal you should be able to pay it off right away in your Verizon app or in-store.

I did that several times back in early 2018 when they were selling the Moto Zs for $120. Didn't know if they were still doing that. The last time I tried, it was like pulling teeth..they didn't want to waive it but after quite a bit of twisting...I pulled it out. Smilie

Add a line...pay off and cancel line? Is that doable or a good idea?

That's what I say too, my bro-in-law is on Verizon and just has a single line, it wouldn't be worth it to add a line and keep it for 24 months because it's $20 a month for him to add another line. My guess would be that they make you keep the new line active for 24 months to get the discount or they'd make you pay the full price of $650. It's absolutely ridiculous Google drops the price of the 2XL by $150 and they didn't drop the price of the Pixel 2 at all.

There are no bill credits. The $300 is off the top, courtesy of BB.
