Things of note, you'll want a TV that has ARC. If you don't know what this is, it stands for Audio Return Channel. So when used, the audio is passed back along the HDMI cable to the sound bar. If you go trying to set up multiple inputs into the sound bar, you're going to get frustrated, and you may not always be utilizing the sound bar to its fullest potential. Meaning if you sourced it with the optical cable, it will only get Dolby digital, and only then if the TV actually outputs 5.1 from optical when being sourced from HDMI.
Second, the rear speakers are "wireless" in that they are tethered to the wireless sub. If you don't have a good place to keep the sub by where you're watching, you're going to have visible cables.
Third, these honestly sound pretty good considering they have no tweeters and only use full range drivers. I have two older Vizio sound bars, and they both work flawlessly. I have an old VSB-200, and the 2013 42" 5.1 model sound bar. All things considered, are these going to replace real home theater Atmos set ups? Of course not. They do sound very good for what they are, though, and given the right positioning (untreated ceiling height 7-9') and the correct listening distance, they can give a person a good perception of height speakers.
Hope that helps.
This is an awesome deal, best and only atmos speaker you can find at this price. Too bad I couldn't wait and bought it for regular price. I'm still happy and satisfied though.

How's the sound on this for the price?
and at Best Buy it has a 3.9/5 - https://www.bestbuy.com/site/vizi...Id=62888
I'd say Costco's warranty is amazing though if you ever had problems, then you can also buy Squaretrade for it.

I know you need either upward firing or ceiling mounted speakers for atmos?
Does the soundbar have upward firing speakers in it which allows it to product atmos effects?
Or is it just capable of decoding an atmos signal and thus labeled as an atmos system?

edit: I'm wrong. The front soundbar has two up-firing speakers on the center left and center right.
