I will disagree on the subjective part.. Samsung is the best brand based on crap tons of testing.

Cool, been waiting for either this drive or the wd black to drop below $250.
Just picked this up from newegg which has it for the same price.

Honestly, the best brand (subjective) and 227 and 1tb and I have 15% off coupon from Newegg. I don't see these getting much lower even on Black Friday or cyber Monday.

True. But the first guy was a fan of adata and I'm not sure even if that's comparable. So I went with subjective.

It's more than comparable. The Adata is close to 970 Pro in several areas of performance:

It was a targeted email promo. 15% off site wide. I think it was system generated. But it was suspiciously sent after I called them and tried to get 10% off a 3000 order. They wouldn't budge over a 50 dollar discount. Ymmv I guess

Your credit cards may have price protection. Check your terms and conditions. It's more of a hassle to get a refund, but this is still a viable option.

do you have a citi card? use price rewind. You could buy it, don't open the box and if you see a lower price later, return it to amazon. Amazon holiday return window has started so you have almost 3 months
