Lowes gift card balance?

I have 3 Lowes gift cards with some remaining balance. Today when I tried to check the balance, I got such a message:
"Invalid information entered, please try again"

Does that mean someone stole my GC info and used up all the remaining money? Thank you.

If the cards are merchandise credit, or in store cards, the balance can only be checked at a Lowe's store, not online.

it's been like that for a while, lowes really sucks balls.

try this instead, put something in the cart and checkout, enter gift card # and pin# then you'll know how much left.

I've also had difficulties depending on which browser I use. Chrome seems to be the only one that consistently works.
