Do you think this is the lowest price on a 60" we will see this holiday season?
Yeah I've been watching it waiting for it to drop like it did last year. Considering they matched Dicks price, I'm guessing it won't go lower. So I pulled the trigger.
My dad worked in a metal machine shop where he cut steel all the time. We used to have a Goaliath pole he thought was solid but after seeing the GS60c I bought last year for $799 he said the Goalrilla was a beast and looked very solid. So for being 5.5"x5,5" he thought it looked and felt really solid. Looks like the CV60 really gets you is an extra 6" overhang, and 11 guage 6"x6" steel over the 13 guage the GS60c has. But based on my Dad's opinion after working with steel for 15 years, I don't regret saving the money and getting the "cheap" GS60c.
What do you think about the GS60c vs the CV60? Worth the extra $300?
I have done a ton of research. For the $300 its worth it. Especially since you factor in getting the backboard pad and the goal return net. The extra thick steel on the CV reduces wobble significantly.

Guess it would all depend on the use case. I don't have an 18yr old boy and his friends dunking and hanging on it or anything.
I'm just looking for a solid 60" hoop for a good price and this fit the bill for me.
In comparing it to something similar like a Silverback on Amazon, it has a thicker pole and thicker backboard, and not much difference in price (at this point).

The Silverback was $599 two weeks ago. Tempting.
Amazon has tax, but free shipping. Shipping on the Goalrilla was ~$60 after the shipping credit.
I'm leaning towards the Goalrilla.

I went to dickssportinggoods.com. No shipping credit? No shipping. How much did everyone pay for shipping? Installation? Does gsc60 include the padding's like cv60? Would backyard store price match? Buying from online doesn't provide installation options like the local stores.
I think the black Friday pricing is for all Goalrilla dealers. My local store has the exact same pricing.
Yes, tax if I buy local. However after the shipping credit it was still $60 - so almost a wash on tax vs. shipping. Might as well buy local.
