Better than the bill credit trap but still quite pricy. After evaluating the OnePlus 6T, I'll be hard pressed to spend over $600 (without locking in for any amount of time).

My wife needs a new s8 or s9 like now. So this may be the best deal out there now that I am seeing. Will see what else black Friday brings.

agree, spending $600-700 is not worth it imo, wait 6 months and these models will be couple hundred less

Missed out on the double trade in value a few weeks ago. They were throwing in a free Samsung VR too. So total immediate savings with a note 8 trade in was $500 + VR. Hopefully they'll do it again soon. Kicking myself..

Not as good as the other deal couple weeks back thru Samsung. Double trade in value plus free VR. So with note 8 trade in, it was $500 off instantly + free Samsung VR. Still kicking myself for not doing it, hopefully they'll do it again soon..

Does anybody know if this stacks with the Verizon bogo offer with + new line?
That would make it a slick deal. 2 gs9 for 800-300-300=200

Is this $300 for Sprint or it is $200 as there is another thread for Sprint and Costco saying $200

I was thinking about getting this and paying it off early, but in the fine print it says "early payment of installment plans or cancellation of service will forfeit billing credit". Not sure if they would try and try claw back the $300 somehow.

It's not a billing credit from Verizon, so I don't know how they could get back a $300 cash card from the wireless activation company. This is not a carrier offer...

Does the Verizon Account owner and costco membership have to be in the same name? I'd like to take advantage of this offer but don't have a need for a costco membership but have a friend that is willing to go to the store with me.

a Costco gift card is not a bill credit. You can pay off the phone once you get your $300 Costco Cash card in the mail
