Almost bought this model on the last deal with the harmony remote and 3 UHD movies for $199 but didn't have my TV yet. Picked up the Samsung 75NU8000 at Costco when I joined on Wed using the sign up deal. I read the whole AVS forum thread on this player and concluded it will work great for my needs as the TV has plenty of streaming services on its own. Purchased this today and looking forward to pairing it with the new TV. Thanks to OP for bringing this to my attention!

I just pulled the trigger too. I don't need it for streaming either, just need a decent 4k blu-ray player.

Do you happen to have the link, on the AVS forum, I'd like to review that as well.

Even Sony 4k players have trouble with Dolby Vsion on Sony TVs. This is a known issue with Sony TVs and their use of Low Latency Dolby Vision. Sony is expected release a firmware fix for their TVs. LG 4K players work with all other 4K TVs.

No difference. The "c" is just added to make it a unique model # to Costco.

Anyone have thoughts between this and the Sony x700? I'm going to connect this to my 2016 Samsung 4k TV and older receiver. I'm later planning on upgrading both the receiver and TV.

I've been looking into UHD/4k players and this is a really good deal on an all around great player. In for one! (at least this didn't go OOS like the Vizio did, lol)
