    Also curious how this stacks up against the Klipsch 12". From what I read you have to pay double these prices to get something significantly better. I'm also debating just getting a second $100 Monoprice 12" for my setup

    I have this. It does well in a medium to large room as long as its positioned well. I have it in my small-medium room and I can't appreciate the sub fully since its tougher to position for best response.

    I've been waiting for this deal for over 6 months. This doesn't go on sale very often, as it is already killer value for the money and retail price. My current sub makes terrible sounds below 40 hz. In for one. I hope it's half as good as the reviews say it is.

    Super impressed with my BIC I bought over two years ago and would order again and again! I am a Klipsch fan boy as well! I have a rear triple firing 10" Klipsch and my BIC kills it.

    Silly question, but my Sony STR-DN850 receiver only has RCA for subwoofer out. Would this sub not work or does anyone know if there is a specific wire I'd need?

    Nope, you just use RCA. There's an amp built into most home subs.
