I like the pedastal stand on this TV. All these other TVs have the far apart legs on them that are the width of the TV, which makes them not fit on smaller sized TV stands. Plus I just like the look of the pedastal type stands better. I just wish there was a good deal on a 65". I have a 51" now and a 55" is not much of an upgrade.

The 65" mu7000 on the same Fred Meyer site is $599 which is a good discount. I think there's a separate thread for it already but just type mu7000 into the FM direct site search bar.
