Winter is upon us so I started hunting for remote start deals through blue link again. Had the following email delivered to my spam folder today for connected care and remote services.
First three months are $15 ($5/month for the first 3 months) and $10/month thereafter.

Connected and Remote are the two packages you must enable for remote start. Guidance from Google is entirely unnecessary.
When I use the promo code, I'm offered Connected and Remote Services for $7.50 per service, per month. When I hit the Proceed to Payment button, the Order Summary shows $15 + tax for "one year of service ending on February 20th" (???), which sounds closer to the deal described but is still phrased confusingly.
And the IFRAME where I'm supposed to enter my payment details? It times out. (I've tried from multiple connections; it always times out.) [EDIT: The IFRAME finally stopped timing out!]
This still feels expensive considering I just put value in the Remote Start service, but if I can get this deal to work, it should get me through the colder months (after which I'll just discontinue service).
They're going to have to work on their pricing if they hope to keep people onboard year round!
Their website does suck but the math adds up once you click through (monthly at 7.50 followed by 90 days for a "year" at 7.50/service).
I'll probably keep through May and the reactivate when they run this promo again next year (for the winter months).

December, January, February.
One thing to note... This $10/month does not expire as long as you maintain the subscription.
It doesn't just go back to normal price after a few months or anything, so I will keep it for winter and then summer (remote start with AC).
I do wish it was included in the cost of the car like it is with 2018 and 2019 (3 years included).
