I might bite on this, no taxed added for me in MN.
I was almost ready to get a e8 for $2250 but that deal expired. Saving $300 now and basically losing just the sound bar and the on glass bezel design... seems like a good deal.
This retailer seems like it has solid reviews, most of the negative ones are that the delivery took too long, but as long as I get the TV eventually I don't care.
Like guy asked above, does it really void manufacturer warranty buying from an unauthorized seller? I have seen people say "no it doesn't matter" before but it is still scary ><

I'm just about in the same boat. I've been waiting for the E8 because I thought C8's sound may not work well if mounted on the wall and I don't have the space for surround sound. The E8 deals this week haven't been was I was expecting. A week or two ago there was a deal with buydig to call in for E8 at $2249 shipped. I'm rueing skipping that now
Nice, this crosses the emotional 2k level. That said, if you're concerned about the unauthorized seller, I have a greentoe counteroffer sitting in waiting at $2099. I know they've gone as low as 2049 on that site in the past and given that it ships from an authorized reseller with an official invoice in the box, seems well worth the peace of mind for $50.
Has anyone had any issues with warranty buying from an unauthorized dealer?
Secondly, Chase Extended Warranty - will they not cover this by any chance since its from eBay?
Sorry, completely new to this - help will be appreciated.
Thank you
Honestly, credit card extended warranties are some of the best ever. I had a laptop break and used my Amex (I know you said Chase, but I can't imagine they'd be worse) and got approved easily. They want your business and want you to stay with them, but places like squaretrade will not cover it. I think aside from Credit card extended warranties, Best Buy's Geeksquad would be the best if you somehow got them to price match.

I have about 5 various credit cards and they're my favorite to use because when I have problems, they ALWAYS solve them. I honestly think I've used chase once for an unauthorized transaction, which they were good with but yeah, maybe it's just AMEX is better than the others.
I bought an E7P from firstclasstvs earlier this year, had a great experience with them as a seller but haven't had to deal with any warranty-related issues. I was able to register the TV with LG without any problems.

Warranty was my only concern. Once TV registered, should be good to go, no?
