CVS Info:

First of all, you will need a CVS ExtraCare card. This is obtained easily at any store at the register. Some will ask you to fill out the form then and there, others will just give you the card and ask you to return the form later.

Once you have the card, you can now start CVSing

The biggest thing to understand is that CVS uses a promotional program called "ExtraCare Bucks" (commonly abbreviated as ECBs.) These print out on your receipt immediately once you purchase an item offering them; almost like an instant-rebate you get at the register. You can turn around and use them anytime on almost anything in the store, except for alcohol, cigarettes, and gift cards.

Often, CVS advertises items as "Free after ECB" – For example, throughout the month of November, CVS has Crest Pro Health Whitening Toothpaste in 4.2 oz size, for free after ECB. The cost is $3.49, but you get $3.49 back instantly on your receipt. The best part is that there are often coupons available that can actually help you earn money… like for the above toothpaste, there are $1 off coupons available, meaning the item would be $2.49, but you get $3.49 in ECBs back. The limit on this toothpaste for this month is 2. So if you wanted to start off small to get into CVSing, the thing to do would be to buy one toothpaste in the first transaction (and use a coupon if you have one, so that you either pay $3.49 or $2.49 in cash), then use the $3.49 ECBs you get back from that first transaction to pay for the second tube of toothpaste, and again, receive $3.49 more in ECBs.

The trick now is to roll your ECBs so that you rarely pay more than maybe a dollar or two in tax on transactions, instead using your ECBs from previous transactions… then earning more to keep doing the same. It's a cycle (and a game/addiction to some, lol.)

Plus it's poured into a container, doesn't get on the outside. Then I have a sealed biohazard bag to put it into. Then that's in the paper bags. None of it's getting out.

I purposefully avoided putting my name on it yet just for that reason. laugh out loud

I would love to have a web cam in there in case anyone does look. Coverlaugh

I doubt they will, though. It's a good office, never had any issues with anyone taking other people's stuff.

I haven't seen him in a couple of days. Hope he's ok. Hide

My contractors left - they're done! Whee They are going to send the carpet guy back out - they are not happy with his work on our stairs. Cool. While I was chit chatting with the woman in charge (husband/wife team) she told me she was contacted by HGTV to work on a special they're doing in Texas this summer! How cool is that!? They rock. I am so glad I found them.

Oh my goodness! He finally went to kill you, frog... but you somehow, even with the element of surprise on his side, were able to take him down instead! Jawdrop

Am I right? What'd you do with the body?

Stress Airfare to france is down to $462 each. We've been talking about going somewhere domestic instead... but at this point, what would the difference be? Airfare anywhere is $200+, then we'd need hotel. and probably a car. Our hotel is free in France (until next tax season, and even then with Daddy Obamabucks we should be able to cover the $300 no problem next year) and we'd have to eat domestically just like we'd need to eat there. We'd use the Metro for transportation, so that cost isn't bad.

I would be dumb not to take this trip! We've discussed it to death... am I nuts to think we should just go??

I think he just has a lot going on, especially with the new baby coming, and probably overwhelmed with stuff at work.

Hopefully he'll be back before too long, though.
