Negative. I have a Ridgid 16 gal vac, hose does not fit. Have to buy adapter

That is to connect to another hose. I have an 8 gallon Ridgid vac in the basement, I may just swap the vacs instead of buying an adapter.

To save some $$ would the good old duct tape work lol?
You could rig it for sure, but look at it this way, you got the kit for half price, pick up an adapter for $7 and it's still cheaper than full price. The hose is a lot nicer
It's ok...hose is ok, it's not like super flexible but more flexible than say your standard black vac hose for sure.
The accessories have hard sharp edges put tape on them or file them so you don't scratch stuff on your car. I'd say for auto stuff it's worth 20, 40 is a bit steep though for sure as the accessories are nothing special quality wise (but handy if you get them)
