I wouldn't recommend it for common vehicles due to the exorbitant pricing, but being able to have your stand at the same point as the jack is quite useful.

I had no clue these were a thing, cool find!! Too expensive for my tastes and the limited track days they'd see, but great for someone doing extensive work on a project.

These are cheaper than jackpoint jack stands, and function in a similar manner.

I purchased a set and will give it a try. Thanks for posting.

Thanks, I've been wanting something like this since I bought a car that only has pinch weld lift points (no way to add conventional jack stand after lifting with service jack.)

Be sure you are getting the correct vehicle adapter.

These are great given so many cars don't have a spot for a jack and jack stand. Most new cars are deigned to be on a professional lift and that's it.

It's really aggravating. Older unibody cars had decent spots for jack and stands, but now they don't

My solution has been a pinch-weld adapter on the floor jack (inapinchweld.com) to lift the car by the factory jack points, and then the Esco 10498 jack stands under the spots meant for the pads on a garage hoist. I don't know why there aren't more jack stands with a nice wide, flat, rubber top as opposed to the notched out ones best suited for axles.

That's a no brainer, get the F150 or Ram 1500.

Picking on me for brake vs break? Wink I'm an engineer...i don't have the best words and sometimes use the wrong ones. I prefer cars that brake, not the ones that break. Either way the alternator on a V8 Touareg is a $3k job as they have to pull the engine...really? My independent guy went through the wheel well and it still took 11 hours.
