Think this needs to be charged quite often. Get a lithium jump starter and you won't have to charge it often if you don't use it.

I had a mild power drain on my car that caused it to need to be jumped if I didn't drive it for a few days. I aleays got a few jumps out of it before I had to recharge it. Months in-between jumps sometimes.

Also always worked pretty well.

Lithium battery would def maintain it's charge much longer, but would probably die in a few years. Whereas a nicad would last longer (but just have a reduction in capacity over time)

I wouldn't recommend the camo version, you gonna have a hard time finding it when you need to use it

All of this type of jumpstarter use sealed lead acid batteries. Similar to a car battery. Not NiCads. They'll probably die just as quickly or quicker than a lithium if you leave them in the trunk and don't maintain them.

I got one last year for $25, this jump pack is not up to the task.

I charged this up to try and jump a dead motorcycle and after

1 try it didn't have enough juice to try again.

Also the tire inflator failed after the second use.

I had one of these. The seal in the compressor went out after only a few uses. Now it's just an expensive and inconvenienly heavy battery jumper.
