Any chance you have a picture of the price tag? Customer Service is saying it's impossible to offer at that price.
I purchased this online at Costco.com for $700... pretty upset seeing it for $500 in my local store... apparently Costco.com won't price-match in-store prices.
I did get free delivery, but I really doubt that's worth $200.
With that being said, I do recommend this set, it seems to be very well constructed. The chairs took forever to put all 6 together, but they're pretty quality. The hide-able leaf in the center is what really sold me.
Beware - when the leaf isn't in use and hidden under the table, the ends of the table don't have much leg room. However, when the leaf is in use (how I chose to keep it most of the time), there is plenty of leg room on the ends.
Also, FYI it is possible to hammer in (with a rubber mallet) the table leg beauty caps too far.
TL;DR - If you're in the market for a new kitchen/dining room table this is it. You won't find anything of this quality anywhere near $500. I saw this in store and loved it at the $700 price, $500 seems like a steal.

It is $699 online due to shipping costs.
