1. you get to choose the extra 2 tools
2. the flashlight is probably one most people are NOT choosing (cheap)
3. the brushless kit comes with a 2ah and a 3ah battery (that's +HP). The 1.5ah batteries are weak.
So, for $80 more you get:
1. better tools - brushless tools (and its not that they are the same tools but brushless. for instance, the circular saw has bigger blade....the newest is awesome)
2. your choice of the 2 extra tools and get some nice ones (even more options available in store)
3. better batteries
