Bought! I have always wanted to try these. It is weird that they come with a case though. I thought these shipped in a case, so I hope they are truly brand new.

I bought the DT-880 from BuyDig a while back which included an extra hard-shell case, but the phones still arrived in the standard Beyerdynamic case, so I would assume this is similar.

yeah, there's a soft case the headphones come with. it's really not a protective case though, it's more of a zipper-close cover. the additional headphone case this comes with seems more like a protective travel case.

I've been looking at getting planar headphones, (HiFiman HE 560), but this is tempting.

What a lame bundle. At least bundle it with a dac/amp like the E10k. Buydig has done this a couple of times.
