Both American and Delta Airlines have round trip airfares travelling from San Francisco (SFO) to Zurich Switzerand (ZRH) for $364, making 1 stop. These are basic economy fares with an option to upgrade before final purchase. On both airlines, your basic economy allows one carry-on bag in addtiion to one small personal item. i don't remember paying $22 USD for a big mac
in SF
March and April are above freezing by a little. So basically like SF in July.

Coming from San Francisco, it's probably about equal to be totally honest.

Succint: Zurich is a gateway, get out of dodge ASAP for both cultural and monetary reasons.

France Italy much cheaper than USA on most things in cities

BE is brutal, no leg room, no bags, now no TV or working plugs on AA
777 w 200 or 300 series is 10 across with tiny seats. Good luck!
