I was going to post the deal too since I actually picked one up from a B&M store in DE (tax-free!) when I drove by yesterday. The in-store price (at least in that particular store) is actually $10 cheaper!
The two handles are little different - the rose gold handle has 6 instead of 5 brushing modes as advertised. It seems you're getting one 8000 and one 6000. But bear in mind the Costco package does not have all those accessories you find in a regular standalone 6000 or 8000 package - it only has two carrying cases, two plain charges and three heads. The 8000 package comes with a charging case that supports 220~240v - very handy if you travel overseas a lot.
It's a decent deal if you're fine with the basic accessories included.

Sweet thank you for the additional info! I could not find in my store (MI). Costco description isn't the best and at first they only had that one white background picture. Just needed an electronic brush at a SD, first time convert for the Mrs and I. I am okay without accessories!
Bought 2 8000 from Walmart at $65 each so this is a comparable deal. The "accessories" aren't too great. Just a charging case and a suction cup for your phone to aid with brushing quadrants through app.
Put the price in the title and you have yourself a nice post and deal.

Does the Costco have the 110-240 v charger? I'm sorry, but couldn't tell from your comment.

I tried searching tips and tricks, nada. How? Sorry new to this and thank you!
They also have these for $65... also lithium ion:

These look good too. Are the only differences that the ones in this thread have Bluetooth/app connection to your phone and a few extra cleaning modes? I read a description of the different cleaning modes and beyond the primary 2 modes, the rest just seem like tweaked versions of the first two.

No, the Costco package only includes two standard charges sold in the US. The 8000 model sold in most retail stores and on Amazon includes a carrying case with a 110-240 power adapter that charges the handle and provides a USB charge port - that's in addition to the standard charger. Hope this helps.

I owned multiple Oral B professional series toothbrushes over the years.
Last year I upgraded mine to 8000 series ( at the time the top of the line).
Last week I sent it back to Oral-B for quality issue, and I am getting 7000 series as replacement because I requested that way.
The problem with even number series (6000, 8000) the rubber between the bottom of thw handle is only friction suction on. Toothpaste will slip in over time and cause moldy smell.
My first expensive Oral-B Trimph v1 from ten years ago after 4 plus years the battery dies and I opens it up ( battery is meant to be recycled so Oral-B toothbrushes are meant to be disassembled at the end) the older hat fat handle design ( current 5000, 7000 series) the bottom of the handle is SCREWED IN to the body and the seal is tight. There were hardly any residue between the body and the bottom piece.
My 8000 series smelled funky after 6 months use. I tried to clean it with soap after the every wash.. And dry it. I got fed up and opened mine to inspect the bottom connector area. It was gross and because of the slim design, the seal is not strong as 7000.
If you have 6000 or 8000, stick the pointy end of floss piks in the the bottom rubber meets the plastic trim area. You might find unpleasant stuff down there.
The handle is skinny so oral b can bundle it with charging case.

It's pretty much High and Low... I leave it on high and it does the job. I can't imagine what I would do with 4 more. The pressure sensor is a nice feature... especially for my wife that burns through the brush heads. Bluetooth I can't imagine ever using--I'm guessing it's their way to get to you reorder their brand brush heads (alerts, reminders), etc.

I haven't opened it up yet, but the rose one has a tongue setting on it compared to the silver without.
But seems like a great deal for 2 good lithium ion batteries.
What accessories am I missing getting these verse the original?
Thanks
