This is a good set of speakers. Are there better ones out there? Of course. But you won't find them at anywhere near this price point.

On the contrary, if you wait for clearance, you can get better speakers at better prices. Last week on the Fry's clearance, I got 2x RP-250F's for $99 each, 2x R-24f's for $69 each, and an RC-62 II for $168. That's a tad over $500 for an entirely Superior set.

Stock is always the hard part with clearance, that's true. I had to make a 200 mile round trip and visit 3 different Fry's stores to build out my set. Worth it 😁

Why is the more expensive one lower power?
Neither seems like a slickdeal kind of sale. Standard pricing. There must be better deals out there. I've heard it's good to spend about 1/3rd of your budget on the receiver and 2/3rd on speakers which is why I'm looking around $350 to power this $700 speaker set.
RC62 - $134
RS10 2x $60 = $120
R10SW = $169
Total = $821
Yes, it's superior... But I had to build it over time waiting for the right deals. I think this is a reasonable starter set, especially for somebody that doesn't care to wait.
