I own this mouse and it is nowhere near worth $30. If you want a great gaming mouse for cheap, get the Redragon Impact. Same price, lots of buttons, and great feel.
Grab yourself a Logitech G Pro mouse instead. Razer mice are notoriously low quality and break often.
Wrong.
I daily a G403 wireless and have a few backups..
My backup mice include: Razer Deathadder elite, Razer Deathadder 2014, Razer Naga Chroma, Razer Lancehead TE, Razer Abysuss V2, Logitech G502, Logitech MX anywhere 2s and a couple others that I cannot remember.
Deathadder elite is my goto when the G403 is not available. They make fantastic mice, albeit slightly overpriced. Don't get their laser mice but I'd say that about any company.
I wouldn't buy a Razer keyboard, but I wouldn't buy a Logitech either.
Please do not make assumptions based on outdated and biased information. I see more complaints about Logitech scroll wheels, on all their mice, then Razer anything recently.
And as stated, this is coming from someone who dailys a Logitech and wouldn't give it up for anything.
Fwiw my old Razer diamondback mouse lasted 9+ years and only broke cause it was pulled off the desk by the dogs. I waited for a Razer lancegead deal but none popped up so I got a Logitech g502.
FWIW, I got this at $39.99 straight from BB last month (minus some rewards I had saved up). I'm a light gamer, but like the engineering, look, and feel of gaming stuff for my work and general PC usage. I got this since I already had a Razer Cynosa Chroma I got for very cheap during a summertime bundle with a Nanoleaf (I know this is the low end membrane keyboard...but I really liked the feel of it for my typing needs and modest gaming).
Funny, the Best Buy guy who was walking by as I was testing out mice told the opposite (bad luck with Logitech and great luck with Razer). (Edit: Also, only the companies themselves know about their failure rates...given the importance of product reviews, most companies like Logitech do whatever they can to influence perception...e.g. if you comb the logitech reviews, you'll find the same nightmarish experiences).
I might be in the minority, but I really like the Deathadder Elite so far. Matching the RGB between the Nanoleaf, keyboard, and mouse is really fun and looks cool in my office and I preferred the feel of it over the Logitech G502 or the G403. It's worth holding them in your own hands to see what YOU think
All the reviews in the world won't matter as much as that!

Geez. Why do you need so many backup mice? Do you plan on them all breaking? Lol

The three "I bought this" votes are probably the OP, the account they meant to use to ask about value, and the reply.
Majority of Razer products in general are low quality and break often. Check their twitter feed for customer complaints.

Because of the sensor and build quality.

Clearance. I can't stop myself lol. Everyone in the house uses them, time to time. So none really sit idle.
