July/Aug to Europe isn't easily found at this price, at least not from secondary markets like AUS.
Solid deal. If you look around, FRA seems to have great pricing on spring and fall flights.

May should be better than April. April might be cold for Austinites.
Anyways, enjoy your trip? Also, I hope I can one day have enough money to travel to Germany just cause a deal came up or whatever.

You'll likely have more disposable income as you get older. Very few of us did at 24!
Be careful, though...marriage and kids can eat it up fast. I had more disposable income at 25 than at 40, I just didn't realize it because I was subconsciously spending it all on video games, restaurants, and beer.
If I had lived then the way I live now, I'd be retired
And if $500 European airfares were a common thing 15 years ago, I would have gone there a lot more! All my European trips were $1,200-$1,500 RT from 1998-2008. Mostly summer, but still. You have to think outside the box. I went to Iceland for spring break in 1999 for about $350. Everyone said I was crazy. Great trip.
