FAQs:- You Do Not need to open a new line of service to utilize these promotions.
- In Most states, sales tax is applied to the Reduced cost after the $200 discount.
- Trade-in phones must be in good working condition, with No cracks on the screen or the back, and No water damage. You Do Not need to trade in any accessories. The trade-in phone Does Not have to be a T-Mobile phone. It Does Not have to be unlocked.
- You Do Not hand over your trade-in phone to Costco, you get a shipping label and you have 30 days to drop it off at the post office (after you complete the online portion of the rebate yourself).
- You Can Not trade in multiple phones and get multiple rebates on the same new phone. One trade-in per new phone purchased.
- Although you don't technically need to bring your trade-in phone with you to Costco, it is advisable. Costco needs the IMEI (serial#) of the phone and they are expected to inspect the phone before processing the paperwork for the trade-in. It is true that T-Mobile will perform their own inspection of the phone when they receive it, but it is still a good idea to bring it with you.
- You Must be the account owner or an authorized user on the T-Mobile account. The account owner can add your name to the account by calling T-Mobile or they can do it online [t-mobile.com].
- T-Mobile phones sold from Costco cannot be put on a finance plan. They are purchased upfront at reduced cost. Yes, they can order you a T-Mobile phone that gets delivered straight to you in the mail on payment plan, but these promotions are not for that.
- These promotions are not limited to one per account, as some Costco employees believe, the limit is 12 per account.
Costco Membership is required.
Offer only available in-store.
Offer valid 1/12 - 1/14 only.

Picked up the S9 at $517.19 out the door as follows:
Sales Price: $679.99
Instant $200 Discount: $479.99
Sales Tax: $37.20
Total: $517.19
In addition, I traded in the Apple iPhone 7 and will receive the $360 rebate as follows:
Bill Credit: $90.00
MasterCard Gift Card: $270.00
This was a simple upgrade to the wife's phone, no line-addition, no plan change.
The sales rep provided paperwork as follows:
- T-Mobile 2018/2019 Samsung Trade In Trade Up Promotion, detailing steps on qualifying for the rebates as far as qualified trade-in models and value-return, and the IMEI Model# of the purchased Samsung Phone, to use for your rebate request. For this transaction, of the $360 in rebates, $90 will be returned as a bill credit, with the remaining $270 forthcoming as a MasterCard (your choice of a virtual card with a 6 week delivery from approval, or 8-10 weeks for a physical card; choice to be made on the T-Mobile Rebate/Promotion page)
- T-Mobile Recovery Terms
In sum, confirms the $90 bill credit to be applied
- Assurant Shipping Label and Device Return Instructions, detailing housekeeping steps to take before returning your device, as well as providing a prepaid shipping label
Got home, went to the T-Mobile Rebate/Promotions site and entered in the transaction details and all appeared in order (Account/promotion details, etc.). They are waiting for the phone to be returned and everything is in motion.
Hope this helps.
Samsung's quarterly business report was out last week and their earnings were way below expectations. They missed by 18% which is considered major. Given that, combined with 5G phones starting to enter the market later this year, there will probably be a lot of sales on their phones over the next couple of months. Earnings misses that big means a lot of stock they need to move. Likely that's why this promo has been extended.
Just a thought.

Yes, they do.
I still want to get in on this.
I would try to call them, but I've tried to call before and no one answers the wireless kiosk.
If not, I'll drive over Sunday.

If that doesn't do it for you, I'm not sure what would.
