Got a call today from SiriusXM that trial period on my new car is expiring at end of this month.

I was offered standard $30 for 6 months. I declined to which she offered another 3 months extension of "All Access: trial period for $2+tax ($2.10 total). I agreed to that.

After standard acceptance and payment I asked the rep if she can add the same $2 deal for 3 months to my another car - the trial period on that car expired in June 2018. She said let me try and she was able to add 3 months on my another car also for $2.

This is first time anybody has ever called from Sirius XM at the turn of trail expiration so it is a huge YMMV.

The toll-free number for Sirius XM is 1-866-687-4213 in case someone want to try their luck.

I understand that not many folks do not like Sirius XM. Only posting this since I think this is too good a deal..

Note: If anybody does get the deal then do not forget to mark the date on calendar to cancel otherwise you will be auto billed at current rate at the time of renewal.

My trial ends tomorrow.
I'll call today for OP's best deal.
Worse case...Pandora, MusicChoice and radio.net streamed via the aux-in.
Repped.

Too bad they don't do the same for streaming version via internet. I got 3 month free a year or so ago, but still did not listen to it that much.

The deal I mentioned is for "All Access" - it includes radio as well as streaming. I tested and verified that streaming works.

I received a similar deal via a mailer for my expiring free 3-month plan I received with my car. I'll see if I can find the link they sent in that mailer for signing up.

Yeah, that does not show up after I enter account and radio. Only the 6 months at $30+.

Thanks. That link worked to activate 2 of the inactive radios on my account for just $2 each. All access too!

I got a try another 3 months free, but this time they want a $2 processing fee.
I'm guessing that's how they get your credit card info.

OP! I'm going to set a reminder and ask you how the cancelling period went. I heard once you give them payment info. They twist your arms till they bleed and break

If it counts for anything, I have never had an issue cancelling (done it probably 2-3 times) if I was not offered a $30/5mo promo offer.

I am signed up for a 3 mo trial at the moment and don't plan on renewing. If I decide to cancel and I remember, I'll let you know how it went.

My daughter's got a new car last August. Her subscription ran out in October 2018. I told her I would get a subscription for her as a Christmas gift. But never got around to it. I guess this offer will just extend my gifting until April. I tried the link in post #7 and I got the deal for her car. Now the question I have is if I sign up for it and use my CC how do I cancel in 3 months if the subscription is under her name?

You will just need her account information. I believe they only confirm the address, phone number, and radio ID when you call to cancel. Just tell them you traded the car in and it will take about 3 minutes with 2 minutes of that being hold time.

Thanks for the great information! Now my concern is that she will want to keep the Sirius subscription, and considering I only spent around $2 for it she will call me a cheapskate. LMAOLMAO Guess I will just have to go through the call in ritual and just negotiate the price down.
