The differences are:
Samsung UN50NU7100 USB/HDMI 3/2 UHD Dimming YES
Samsung UN50NU6900 USB/HDMI 2/1 UHD Dimming NO
The NU7100 may also have a lower "lag" time. (for those who can't afford large screen gaming monitors)
