and i know who thumbed this deal down so i'd like you to explain why you don't think this is a good deal.
Go to wine country, SF, Yosemite, Redwoods, Tahoe, etc? It's sort of right in the middle.

Also: "escape Orlando" is an acceptable answer.

I didn't thumb it down but Southwest has nonstop to MCO and booked in advance is probably close in price with 2 carry-ons. United out of Sacramento particularly connecting in SFO is generally a horrible choice. I fly a ton out of SMF and United consistently burns me if I attempt an SFO connection, literally the majority of time so I simply avoid them out of SMF.

I think this a good deal tho and flights I just looked at connect in either DEN or LAX.

Southwest SMF to MCO March 5, $109 nonstop one way.. if you checked two bags with United it would end up costing even more possibly. Main cabin just includes a carry-on + personal item.

Some decent prices from other CA departure points if you're willing to fly Frontier. Non-stop red-eyes base price cheap.

They really don't have much in terms of discounts. Best bet is just an annual or season pass if you're planning more than a couple days. Plus they're park to park tickets by default.

Thanks. We are heading to Orlando in a couple weeks mainly just to go to the Harry Potter stuff. 2 day passes seem like they're around $275ish.

Universal Studios currently has the buy two days get two days free promotion. I tried to convince the family to do that instead of Disney but the kids are still too young.
