For those wanting to fill the void left by FilmStruck, Criterion has announced their new streaming service:

The Criterion Channel launches April 8th, 2019 offering a 'streaming library of more than 1,000 important classic and contemporary films'

"Sign up now to get special benefits including an extended 30-day free trial (starting April 8), reduced fees for the life of your subscription, and access to a members-only Movie of the Week between now and launch."

Available on Desktop, Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Roku, iOS, and Android devices.

30-Day Trial [criterionchannel.com]
*A $1 authorization hold will be placed on your card. When your free 30-day trial ends, the hold converts to a $9.99 USD charge as a recurring monthly subscription. If you cancel before your trial ends, you won't be charged.

Once you sign-up, you will gain access to prelaunch Movie of the Week series, featuring a new surprise every Wednesday from now until the official site launch April 8. So, the earlier you sign-up for 30 Day Trial, the more free classic movies you'll be able to enjoy!

Criterion is not for everyone, but for those who appreciate and love classic movies, this might be worth it!

I've attached a screenshot of the e-mail you will receive once you subscribe to the Criterion Channel, it also re-confirms that if you cancel before the trial expires, you won't get charged.
