Wiki is missing the picture of the HF coupon policy. If anyone can find it, please post. I'm going to move a summary for the HF coupon policy to the top of the Wiki since this seems to be the number one newbie questions.

Regulars - please add and edit away.

Tried to keep it clean, but here it is.

COUPON POLICY
HF standard policy is (however, YMMV)

One coupon per item, no double dipping on coupons. Fixed sale price (ex. $4.99 screwdriver set) or 20% off any one item - not both.
One percentage off per purchase, per day (generally are 20% off)
Fixed price item coupons will list a max quantity allowed.
One "freebie item" per day (currently are with "any purchase")
Fine print for percentage off coupons exclude some name brands (C-H),air compressors, tool chests, generators, floor jacks, parking lot and other special sales.
Occasionally, HF will offer a percentage off total purchase. Generally, to get a 20% discount the coupon is worded as requiring a specific dollar amount purchase ($99).

Not that I need one, but to help the OP who was asking. They did switch these about 6-9 months ago. So was your unit the old one or the new model that was introduced in the last 6-9 months?
It has to be the old one, the new one hasn't been on sale for that low of a price. And the old one got somewhat cruddy reviews on the site while the new one seems fairly well reviewed.

never seen a coupon on either one of them. I would slap a 20% of on the mallet $2 off is better than nothing. But somebody will probably find you one. GL

Thanks,

I just bought a mini ball peen and the helping hands, the cashier let me use a free 12" clamp spreader, a free flashlight coupon, as well as the 20% off.

The 59.99 floor jack deal is no more? I tried applying the coupon but it said something about limit reached. I need a new jack Frown

EDIT:
I take it one can no longer use it online, but if I print it out and go to the B&M it should work? I had more than $99 worth of stuff to buy so I figured I could save a trip since shipping is free.

I would say you can easily use it in store if they have any in stock. I would try the store once again before you head for the B&M store they seem to be having some issues with online this week.

Thanks for the info on the inspection camera, guys. Much appreciated...my brother and his wife just bought a 100+ year old house with lots of stuff hidden behind new sheetrock, and I know they'd love it to be able to look behind the walls.

It will probably be YMMV. The last 20% coupon I looked said it excluded jacks, but with HF, it is YMMV. Of course, don't be surpirsed if they say no too.

Has anyone used HF's wet saw tile cutters before? Like the 7" or 4" ones that are $50 online? How do you rate them? I need one to redo kitchen counters with ceramic tiles.

In the future I'd like to be able to use it for cutting granite tiles or marble if possible.

Anybody see the 3 Ton racing jack lower than $199.00?

http://www.harborfreight.com/auto...68052.html
I was in during the parking lot sale and noticed the jacks are different than what I've seen before so it's hard to say. I'll have to see what mine is rated, but it was just over $100 (and was the biggest rapid that you would see on sale).

I used the 7" one to do the tile in my bathroom. It was actually my uncle's who used it for his bathroom and his kitchen floor. The blade was starting to get pretty worn after all that use but the saw worked great. Is it a precision tool? No, but it beats nippers or a manual saw.

I used typical bathroom tiles on the wall and high traffic porcelain on the floor which seemed pretty hard.

I guess if you have a lot to do over a long period of time I would give it a try for the price otherwise I would rent a real pro saw if you only need it for a day or two.

Just curious...would this set cost the same in store as online?
http://www.harborfreight.com/40-p...47902.html

I have a 20% off coupon from my Autoweek magazines that I can use...I need this set, since someone made off with small Craftsman set in my car SMH.
