I don't track prices on peppercorns, but I needed some and this seems like a good price with good reviews. $12.95 - $3.00 coupon on the product page = $9.95 with free shipping. Sold and shipped by The Spice Lab Inc.

If you have a Costco nearby, mine carries Tellicherry peppercorns. The last time I checked the price, it was $7.79/14.1 oz, which comes out to $0.552/oz. This deal comes out to $0.622/oz
That's pretty good for Tellicherry peppercorns, actually. Assuming they aren't just using the "source" (which they likely don't know with any certainty) and are using the now industry standard definition of the larger, more ripe peppercorns, this is a good deal. The Spice House (which does a lot of direct sourcing) charges $18 for a pound of Tellicherry peppercorns, and this is nearly as cheap as the regular -- though perfectly adequate -- Kirkland peppercorns from Costco.

You might want to read this:

In a nutshell, the only difference in tellicherry and "normal" peppercorns is size.

As peppercorns grow larger, they lose a little heat. But, with less heat comes a bigger aroma. So the bigger the peppercorn, the more fragrant. There's more room inside the peppercorn for good stuff to happen. More starches.

they'll never "go bad" as in spoil or rot. However they'll start to lose potency after 3-4 years

And that's if unopened. Otherwise, I recommend sealing and and freezing portions if you don't use much (this amount would last me around a year).
