I went to my local Home Depot today to pick up a few more bags of the $1.90 Embers charcoal (Also found a few bags of Kingsford longer burning and professional for the same price)

Noticed they had marked down their remaining Weber Performer Premium grills to $88. These had been posted around a month ago at $210/175

Brickseek won't tell you your local price, but should at least tell you how many are in stock.

No, the Home Depot API doesn't report clearance prices to BS on any of their products unfortunately.

IMHO the best charcoal grill Weber ever made was the Char-Q
Thick heavy cast iron grates, ceramic enclosure, charcoal sits a half inch or less below grates, perfect for two people.
And they discontinued it but kept selling the propane version.
No clue why.

SCORED! & repped! Picked one up in the East Windsor NJ (08520) HD still in a box. They had one left assembled in front of the store still with a $175 clearance label. Rung up at the register for $88. BS shows 2 on hand and 1 saleable (before I purchased it said 3 on hand and 2 saleable). GL

Mine was also in NJ. They had 7, I picked up 2. Was showing 5 still available a couple hours ago, but now 2 on hand, 1 saleable showing. I was in the market for the gourmet grate system for my LE red 22". Weber upped the price on that to $40 from $35. An extra $43 (used $5 off coupon) to get the cart, charcoal baskets, and extra grill was a steal. Might keep the red in the box and just use this now. The second will likely become a wedding gift. Tempted to try for a 3rd to sell, but Weber stuff can be slow flip.

Just picked one up in Houston at the Hillcroft / Beltway 8 store. They have it labeled for $175 but rings up for $88. One more left as of 10:30 am. It's in the front by the paint kiosk.

For people who grill a lot and hate propane grills, it's perfect. It gets incredibly hot with just a small chimney of charcoal. Very economical to use, well built, easy to clean and store.
There's really not another grill like it I have ever seen.
Other grills, charcoal sits too far below what they consider to be "grates" (more like coat hangers).

Just grabbed two. Price was marked down to 159. but after asking for a mgr to check updates they marked them down to 88 and still gave me the %10 military discount too. Thanks op. I almost didn't bother to stop at HD. Clearance items don't show on any stock inventory so brickseek may not show these "in stock" even though they're available in store.

its amazing to me that i live in one of the coldest areas of the country and can't find a single one of these clearance grill deals locally in the middle of a frigid winter.
