Nope, the H500i has intelligent sensors that monitor the temp and noise levels to keep things at an optimal point between cool and quiet.

I just bought the H500i and the only thing I found disappointing is that it can only House 1 240 / 280mm Radiator, I'm sure this model is pretty much the same specs.

I'm not sure why this is a front page deal though, as it is only $10 off MSRP.

Using google express from frys, they only have the white/black in stock comes out to ~54 after tax for me. About the same price for the white phanteks on amazon, anybody that would recommend one over the other? Thanks op and rep'd

This case has really good airflow for simple to moderate builds. Just make sure you keep your desktop clean as it has openings under the case and not up front. I just paid $70 at Microcenter the three days ago (price adjustment in the works tomorrow!) No tax to MD yet and free shipping. In for two.

The h500i comes with smart hub which can sensor and monitor temp inside the case, RGB strip and you can also vertically mount your gpu as well. Got my h500i on ebay during 15% off coupon for only $75 (only $15 difference for way more features so totally worth it) and would recommend it. Even though it's a bit small, I really like this compact and light-weight case and cable management is easy

I have an H200i as well as a Phanteks P300 that's currently $59 on Amazon.

Which Phanteks are you looking at?

The NZXT wins for build quality but the P300 is really shallow for an ATX case these days. I find that a great feature personally.

The P300 was available in white for 49.99 earlier today, seems like it is OOS now. I ended up going with the NZXT H500 though fro google express for ~54 shipped. Thanks op

So in regards to vertically mounting your gpu, do you have any recommendations on a riser cable setup to use?

h500i means you HAVE to invest into the NZXT ecosystem, as the software reportedly only works well with other NZXT products
