    I think spending an additional $40 with kit registration is money well spent for a DIYer or homeowner over this X4 (previous generation) drill/driver kit:

    The brushless motor will undoubtedly outlast your average homeowner when properly maintained AND will give you more power all around. Either kit gives you free batteries for life with registration though.

    I'm just tired and over brushed tools. I can't wait to change out my lawn mower to a brushless model.
