Style wise 4/10, they're not really nice looking curtains - very very standard but functionality wise I'd say 8/10. If you've ever draped a comforter over a window before because your room faces the rising sun and you fear bursting into flames cuz u vampire, you know that it helps a lot. These are way better than some comforter.

It's especially good if you have a big TV and you wanna watch GoT or whatever without a super bright room mid day. You can even go as far as getting light'ish cloth and placing some at the top of it so light doesnt get through that way, and when you're done with your binge, you can remove it, open the curtains and wallah back to normal.

Price is what usually deters people away because again the curtains are nothing to write home about but at this price, heck yeah! Beiges, browns look best with style imo, other ones are meh.. simply due to the style. Personal preference there I suppose. Smilie
From my brief research...
1. These are blackout curtains and not room darkening curtains
2. The sizing chart doesn't have the full range and height that most people need in the $11 vs op's deal
3. OP's deal is for 2 curtains. $11 gets your one
My thoughts for this particular deal:

Yes it's just a plain color, however it's about half the normal price of blackout curtain panels (basics like these tend to start around $20-24 a pair) so imho it is a good deal. The materials/design of these types of curtains is pretty standard, so even if the quality of these is less than expected, it should functionally still serve you well.

Bleed through on lighter colors seems to be an issue for all blackout curtains regardless of brand, from the reviews I've read of different curtains over the years. I have dark ones (navy, black) from two other brands and the block out is 100%. From photos of reviews of blackout curtains in general, the lighter colored ones do significantly reduce light penetration (well over 50%), but are unable to block 100% like the dark ones. So if you buy a light gray, beige, or white, expect some light to get through, but it will be room darkening at the very least. I've done far more research on blackout curtains than I care to admit.

Correct. I have 84" blackout curtains (another brand) and they hang about 1.5 feet from my 10 ft ceiling almost all the way to the floor (3-4").
MAKE SURE TO LEAVE SPACE AT THE BOTTOM. If you run the curtains all the way to the floor it traps moisture in the window area and can lead to mildew growth due to lack of ventilation. I found that out the hard way. Always leave some clearance at the floor.

I've bought these before and was pretty happy with the quality. Going to grab another set now for my screen door.
Heads up though, these do not include a curtain rod.

From the Amazon reviews, it seems that light is bleeding through for the lighter colors. Can anyone with actual experience let me know if that is still true with darker ones? We bought some "blackout" curtains from Walmart, but light is definitely bleeding through...

I paid about the same (reg price) for mine at Home Depot and they didn't have the rod holes which allow you to use different types of rods. (And let in less light without the holes) I got the dark brown at Home Depot and they are great. The curtains themselves let in zero light. It would be pitch black if it weren't for the ambient light let in between the wall and the curtains.
Meh...

Why would I buy these over $11.99 curtains on amazon? Correct me if I'm wrong, but this doesn't seem like a deal at all. Maybe if these ones on sale were some high end brand name.
